The KA-BAR folding Bob Dozier designed HUNTER pocketknife is an affordable, practical all-purpose knife that is appropriate for daily tasks.
This knife features an AUS 8A SS stainless steel 3″ blade, reversible thumb stud for easy one hand opening, and a reversible pocket clip so it can be carried on the outside of the belt or reversed for carry inside of your pocket.
The knife measures 4 1/4″ when closed, has an overall open length of 7 1/4″ and a solid lockback safety blade lock system.
The Hunter has a blade hardness rating of HRC 56-58 which has been hollow ground to a razor-sharp edge providing plenty of cutting power.
The scales are constructed of textured black Zytel for better grip.

BOB DOZIER
Knife-making has woven its way throughout Bob Dozier’s life. His interest first began when, as a boy, he learned from his grandfather how to forge files and springs into useable knives. For much of his young adult life, he made and sold knives that were well-recognized for their quality, hardness and edge holding ability. Thirty years after first making knives in a manufacturing setting, Dozier came to KA-BAR with a large side lock folding prototype. Working with KA-BAR’s team to modify the knife design for practical large scale production, the Dozier Thorn was finalized for sale at the end of 2001. Today, KA-BAR offers eighteen Dozier designed products and work is continually underway to develop the next great collaboration.
