Exchange and Return Policy (Effective as of March 22, 2006)

Exchanges

Within 14 days of the date of purchase, you may exchange an item. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to return the item here as well as to have the newly exchanged item shipped back. Items must be in their original new condition, in their original packaging, and include all packing materials.

If the new product is of greater value, the customer is responsible for the difference. If the product is of less value, a credit will be issued to the original account used for the transaction.

The merchandise must be returned to us using a traceable courier service. TOMAR’S KA-BAR KNIVES will not accept responsibility for any lost shipment of the product(s) being exchanged. All exchanges must be pre-approved by TOMAR’S KA-BAR KNIVES prior to the return being shipped. Please contact us to request an RMA# (Return Authorization Number). The RMA# must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned shipment.

Inside the package, you need to provide documentation as to the request for exchange and a description of the item you wish to exchange for. All exchanges will be inspected, and if valid, will be exchanged for a new product.

Please do not use our mailing address for returns or exchanges without first contacting us for an approved RMA#. Packages that arrive without an approved RMA# are refused by security and returned to the sender.

Return of a Product

A restocking fee (see below) will apply for all products that are returned without exchange. Returns must take place within the first 14 days of the original purchase. Item must be in their original new condition, in its original packaging, and include all packing materials.

All returns must be pre-approved by TOMAR’S KA-BAR KNIVES prior to the return being shipped. Please contact us to request an RMA# (Return Authorization Number). The RMA# must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned shipment.

Please be advised that our return policy is for the purchase price of the item itself minus a restocking fee equal to but no greater than the original cost of shipping.
