The KA-BAR / Becker “Combat Bowie Field Utility Knife”

The Becker combat Bowie knife has a full size 9.25″ straight edge blade constructed of 1095 Cro-Van steel maintaining a HRC hardness rating of 56-58 which has been flat ground to a 20-degree edge angle providing a sharp cutting edge with better edge retention.

The thick .188″ blade allows for prying, chopping, slicing, as well as many other field chores. The length and strength of the Bowie allows use to baton through wood.

The Combat Bowie features a full tang blade providing continuous strength from end to end, an extended pommel for pounding, or as a glass shattering tool, or in a self-defense mode. The serrated thumb ramp is designed into the top of the blade to add to control when cutting with down pressure.

The scales which are constructed of smooth Ultramid are designed for comfort as well as control during use and has a wrist lanyard hole built in for added safety.

This large Bowie knife comes with a Molle compatible black heavy-duty polyester fabric sheath with front storage pouch and riveted leg lashing holes.
