KA-BAR Commando is a large all black non-reflective 12.813″ overall length fighting utility knife with a non-slip black Kraton G Thermoplastic elastomer handle.
This knife features an epoxy powder coated full tang high carbon (1095) Cro-Van steel blade with a [HRC 56-58] hardness rating.
The knife has a full all black straight edge blade.
The full 8″ blade is hollow ground sharpened to a razors edge with a 20-degree edge angle and has buffed polished edges.
The extra wide blade of this knife measures a full 1 1/2″ in width to handle any task.
The knife handle is constructed of black Kraton G elastomer which provides the user with a sure grip even in wet environment conditions, has a pinned butt cap and double steel guards to protect against hand slippage during use, both powder coated to prevent corrosion.
Knife is made exclusively in Olean, New York, U.S.A. and proudly bears the KA-BAR brand name.
The knife also comes with a KA-BAR / black hard shell Molle compatible plastic sheath constructed to be resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects the knife during use in rough terrains.
