KA-BAR 1217 U.S.M.C. Straight Edge Fighting Utility Knife

$85.18

KA-BAR 1217
The most famous fixed blade knife in the world-“the KA-BAR“- was designed to serve our troops during World War II as their main fighting utility knife and is still doing its job, with honors, more than 50 years later.

The quality materials used and their classic construction-stacked leather handle, double guards, and pinned on butt caps-are what made these the best all-purpose knives manufactured today.

The epoxy powder coated; high carbon steel (1095) full tang blade has a [HRC 56-58] hardness rating.

The full 7″ blade is sharpened to 20 / 20 degrees with buff polished edges for better edge retention.

KA-BAR Fighting Utility Knives were designed and built to meet military specifications and use.

This knife was made exclusively in Olean, New York and proudly stamped KA-BAR brand.

The knife comes with a quality brown leather sheath embossed with the U.S.M.C. Marine Eagle, Globe, and Anchor logo and the KA-BAR brand name. It is heavy duty stitched and riveted to maintain long lasting durability.

The blade is stamped U.S.M.C. and KA-BAR Olean, N.Y.
