The KA-BAR folding Bob Dozier Mini stainless steel lockback pocketknife is an affordable, practical all-purpose knife that is appropriate for daily tasks.
This knife features an AUS 8A SS stainless steel 2 1/4″ blade, a thumb stud in blade for easy one hand opening, and a reversible pocket clip so it can be carried on the belt, in the pocket, or adjusted to left- or right-hand users.
The knife has an overall open length measurement of 5 3/4″ and has a lockback safety blade lock system to protect against accidental closure during use.
This knife has a blade hardness rating of HRC 56-58CR which has been hollow ground to a razor-sharp edge providing plenty of cutting ability and the blade tip provides easy penetration when working with tough materials.
The scales are constructed of textured black Zytel for better grip.

BOB DOZIER
Knife-making has woven its way throughout Bob Dozier’s life. His interest first began when, as a boy, he learned from his grandfather how to forge files and springs into useable knives. For much of his young adult life, he made and sold knives that were well-recognized for their quality, hardness and edge holding ability. Thirty years after first making knives in a manufacturing setting, Dozier came to KA-BAR with a large side lock folding prototype. Working with KA-BAR’s team to modify the knife design for practical large scale production, the Dozier Thorn was finalized for sale at the end of 2001. Today, KA-BAR offers eighteen Dozier designed products and work is continually underway to develop the next great collaboration.
